In addit!or.,
a TDS LOWESS plot rs provided for Spoils Spring M1 (the largest and most frequently
mor.iiored spoils spring at Seneca II).
4. Probable Hyd nologic Consequences
_. intrudLCt!On
As i scussed in the Probable Hyc rc_ogic =onsequences (FY.C) presented dur ng the 1986
Pe rmlt Renewal (Section VILA), portions cf the oricinal PHC submitted in 1980 (Section '
II1) can no longer be considered valid. The 1986 PHC updated and modified many of the
co..^.clusions made in the i9E0 FHC. Addittc nal ir.fcrmation in regards to the PHC was
pro': _d ed during one '_592 Permit Renewa_ (Ser.: on VIII.S. tc E.1
Ttus i5P7 ?HC wiL limit itself to d'_scussions of total dissolved solids (TDS) trends and '
che:ni cat pa tame[ers that exceed water quality standards. Due to the fact that all
Tema-Wing coal is scheduled to be removed from S eneca II by the end of 1997, additi onal
modifrcat ions to the PHC are nc? necessary. Most of the conclusions made during the 1986
and 1992 PHCS still are valid. • I
7-358 Revised 02/05/97
