The SWM1
shall include the following items, at a minimum:
a) pescrintion of Hinine Activities. The plan shall provide a narrative description o'
the mining and associated activities taking place at the Eckman Park and Minas 1, 2 any'
3 South site, or having taken place in the past, which affect or may affect stormwate
runoff intended to be covered by this permit. The narrative description shall repor_
the total acreage within the mine site and an estimate of the number of acres o.
disturbed area.
b) Area Subject to Effluent Limitations Guidelines. The SWMP shall describe the portion:
of the site which contribute runoff to areas subject to effluent limitations guideline:
contained in 40 CFR subchapter N.
c) S to Ma The plan shall provide a site map or maps which indicate at a minimum:
For the entire area:
- mining/milling site boundaries and access and haul roads;
- equipment storage, fueling and maintenance areas;
- materials handling areas;
- areas used for storage of overburden, materials, soils or wastes;
- areas used for outdoor manufacturing, storage or disposal of materials;
- location of mine drainage or any other process water;
- tailings piles/ponds, both new and pre-existing;
- mine drainage or any other process water discharge points;
- springs, streams, wetlands and other surface waters; and
- boundary of area that contributes runoff to outfalls that are subject to effluent
limitations guidelines.
For those areas outside of the area that contributes runoff to outfalls that are
subject to effluent limitations guidelines:
- an estimate of the direction(s) of flow;
- stormwater outfalls and an outline of the drainage area of~ each stormwater.
outfall;
- each existing structural control measure to reduce pollutants in stormwate+~
runoff; and
- the location of Impervious structures (e.g. parking lots, roofs, etc.)
