provided by wilGam I.otah (Senior Consultant w/Wright Water Engineers, for
Beverly Stnesntd-Stewart) in his letter of August 7, 2000. The determination of
which comaminanb should be included in the Base Line Water Quality Studies shall
be those Heeded to inattre that the quality of all effected ground water and surface
water can be compared with any futon ground water and/or surface water quality
issues a' might relate to the operation of a gravel mine in the area.
6, provide a Water Quality Study to Montrose County and the State Department of
Health which establishes the base line ground water quality properties and the
aeaeonel tniaimum ground water depths for Phase I and the Stewart Property prior to
opening Phase I for gravel mining. A Water Quality Base Line Study for the water
wells (two) on the Stewart Property shell also be undertaken prior to opening Phase I
for gravel mining.

1. The Mitigetioa Standards identified in Section XII of the Zoning Resolution shall be
eufoncced by the Pit Operator at all times.
2. A11 Qavei truck tre~lc shall travel the easterly 2, l OOf feet of Redvale Road between
the approved driveway and Hwy 145 when accessing the Angie Pit.
3. Provide eoetas ttpgradp for the intersection of Redvale Road and Hwy 145 if and
when traffic volumes require such improvements in accordance with the State
Highway Access Code and complete the installation of such improvements within
two years of the identification of the treed.
4. Provide a Water Quality Study to Montrose County and the State Department of

seasonal minimtrm ground water depths for Phase II prior to opening Phase II for
gravel mining.
