The applicant will plant the following trees and shrubs during final reclamation: 400 5- <br />gallon shrubs ($12,000), 1200 1-gallon shrubs ($18,000), 100 1'/z caliper trees ($15,000), <br />300 ]0-gallon trees ($15,000). <br />13. The applicant will monitor [he groundwater levels neaz the cottonwoods before mining <br />begins as follows: once in May and September and twice a month in June through August. <br />This data will be correlated with the flows in the river [o establish a relationship between <br />the groundwater and the river stages. If, during mining the groundwater falls more than l <br />to 2 feet from baseline levels, the applicant will flood irrigate the trees as necessary [o <br />provide supplemental water for the trees. <br />EXHIBIT G -WATER INFORMATION <br />14. The proposed monitoring wells will likely be 2" pvc wells. The wells will be installed in <br />accordance with the State of Colorado, Division of Water Resources, Rules and <br />Regulations for Monitoring and Observation Hole/Well Construction. The applicant is <br />proposing to monitor the wells quarterly to establish baseline data prior [o mining. <br />EXHIBIT H -WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br />15. I spoke with Courtney Crawford, the local Division of Wildlife (CDOW) representative. <br />Mr. Crawford said he will meet biologist Mike Sherman on the property September 21~' to <br />prepaze a CDOW Wildlife Impact Statement. <br />EXHIBIT .1-VEGETATION INFORMATION <br />16. I spoke with Ron Broda of the Weld County Public Works Department. Mr. Broda said <br />that Tordon is an effective product to use to control musk and Canada thistle. <br />EXHIBIT L -RECLAMATION COSTS <br />17. Please refer to the attached table. <br />EXHIBIT M -OTHER PERMITS AND LICENSES <br />18. In the event a 404 Permit from the Army Corps of Engineers is required, the operator will <br />provide a copy of the permit when it is available. <br />
