~ • a
-6-
' EXHIBIT B
G~~
The site description is as follows:
' 1. According to the report from the Soil Conservation
Service, vegetation in this area consists of predominantly
buffalo grass with bottle brush squirrel tail grass, red
' t ree awn grass, tumble grass, blue rama rass, snake weed,
buffalo burr, wavey leaf thist e, sunflower, soap weed,
small rag weed, and bind weed also present.
2. The only permanent man-made structure within 200
' feet of the site is County Road 23 which runs along the west
side of the property line. This is a maintained gravel
t road.
3. Dry Creek lies approximately 300 feet from the 9
acre mining site. This creek is usually dry although heavy
' rains may cause it to run briefly. Most water, however, is
usually absorbed. There will be very little drainage from
the pit site because there is a bank around the mining area
' which will cause the runoff to drain back into the pit area.
4. No critical or important wildlife habitats or
wildlife species will be impacted by opening a sand and
' gravel pit in this area.

1

1

1
