We have answered the questions in the same order as you posed <br />them. Our responses aze as follows: <br />6.4.4 EXHIBIT D -Mining Plan <br />3. Water will be dischazged from the property into the Colorado River through structures <br />similaz to those at Lafarge's Mamm Creek operation. Pictures of these structures were submitted <br />previously to show the general design. Attached.~is+a<cross section of the discharge channel used <br />at Mamm Creek, which will be similaz to the one used at North Bank. Rip-rap will be used to <br />avoid scouring and erosion. The maximum velocity of dischazge to the river will be 750 gpm. <br />4a. Attached is a revised Exhibit C-Sheet 2, which shows that all planned disturbance will be <br />outside the 100-year floodplain and floodway. Lafarge shall coordinate with the US Anny Corps <br />of Engineers to verify the top of bank prior to initiating excavation activities. <br />4b.
