<br />LJ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Juniper type is classified under Woodland Suitability Group 3. <br />'1'rr~es on these soils are of little or no commercial value; <br />the soils of this group are best suited to wildlife habitat, <br />watershed and recreation. <br />The gravelly alluvial land consists of highly stratified <br />deposits of granitic gravel and sand. There is little fine <br />soil material. The surface is covered with cobbles and <br />travel in places. There is little or no plant cover. where <br />plants are present, they are mostly weeds, rabbitbrush, and <br />traces of grass. <br />This land is not suitable for range, because of the sparse <br />variable plant cover (U.S. Soil Conservation Service, 1975). <br />A vegetation map is included in Exhibit C. <br />J-2 <br />
