1 <br />' If the initial seeding operation is to be done in the <br />' fall, it may be necessary to summer fallow the newly graded <br />slopes with a pre-emergence and/or post-emergence herbicide. <br />Stand Maintenance <br />' Three to 5 years after seeding may be required for a <br />seeded stand to become established. Generally, grass and forb <br />' species will become established within 3 years. Shrub species <br />may require 5 or more years.
