It is the intention of Fremont
County to perform reclamation on the access road.
Miaiag Plaa: The topsoil from all phases of the operation will
be placed within the 50 foot setback at the Northwesterly
portion of the operation. The topsoil hauling routes will
vary.
The Bureau of Land Management has amended the issued Free Use
Permit with regard to "Special Statement, Item F", which now
reads as follows:
Upon final reclamation, if stormwater infiltration
within the pit is not rapid enough to prevent the
formation of permanent mud areas, positive drainage
must be provided to the North into the natural
watercourse. Conditions must be present for
vegetation to re-establish everywhere. within the pit
area.
I have discussed this item with Charles Fair, of B.L.M., and he
stated that this statement was taken from another Free Use
Permit and may not be applicable to this site. He stated that
he felt it would not be a problem at this site, judging from
the mining activity on the South end of this B.L.M. Tract 47,
which is an area under a mining permit with the Glen Vista Home
