As you recall, the Colorado Division of
Minerals and Geology (CDMG) required MDI to conduct a spring and seep survey within
the mine workings for the purpose of verification that the azeas proposed for tailings and
waste rock disposal aze drv. The results of the survey are attached.
The results of the surveynsdicate that the proposed stops area is dry to damp (from
humidity only). This survey of the stops azea also revealed that there is no evidence of past
or present water flows in this area of the mine. These results veri~v that the proposed stops
area is ideal for the storage of tailings and waste rock material.
If you have any questions or comments, or need additional information, please do not
hesitate to contact Trey Sa~field at (713) 852.8078, or by mail at 7026 Fuchsia Lane,
Humble, Texas 77346.
Sincerely,
Trey Scd&eld
Enclosure
'~
cc: Hazold Lazar, Jr.
Vice President Operations
Mine Development :[ncorporated
3319 E. 4°h Ave.
Durango, Colorado 81 _t01
