Enough organic material remains <br />in the returned soil to ensure good moisture retention and good seed growth. <br />vi Trees <br />Although not required, we have elected to plant trees and shrubs on our mining sites in <br />order to speed recovery and more rapidly return the area to satisfactory wildlife habitat. <br />After the advent of the Hayman fire, any trees will be an asset to the azea. <br />We will plant approximately 40 trees per acre on those sites which were heavily timbered <br />prior to the fire (Sites A through D, F, H, I, J, and K).
