Reclamation costs should be figured on the basis of what it <br />would actually cost the state to reclaim an abandoned site. <br />a) Topsoil replacement: 45,000 cu. yd. x .55/cu.yd.= $24,750 <br />b) Fine grading & seedbed preparation: 27. acres @ 200/ac.= $5,400 <br />c) Drill seed mix: 27 acres @ 50/ac.= $1,350 <br /> <br />d) Fertilizer: 27 acres @ $14./ac. _ $37R <br />e) Mulch: 27 acres @ $225/ac. _ $6,075 <br />T01'AL COST S37,953 <br />Unless the operator wishes to discuss the reclamation costs further, <br />the staff will recommend that bond be set at $37,950. <br />Please submit proofs of publication and adjacent landowners notifica- <br />tion as soon as available.
