Grasses which are <br />beneficial to livestock feed include Blue Grams 11 .11~, Western <br />Wheat 5.11, Native Blue Grass 2.94, Spike Muhly 0.72, Side <br />Oats Grams 2.17 and lesser important Sleepy Grass O.06~, and <br />Sedges 2.22. These grasses total 24.33. Weeds include Cheat <br />Grass 1.39, Alfileria 1.06, and Kochia Weed 0.06$. These <br />weeds make up 2.51 of the total. Under fortis Perennial Fortis <br />present are 4.67, Vetch 0.22, and Globe Mallon 0.11 giving a <br />total of 5.00 for these. Under shrubs two types of cactus are <br />present, Cholla Cactus 0.11 and Prickly Pear 2.56 along with <br />Loco Weed 1.22, Snake Weed 4.44$, and Oak Brush 0.28$. These <br />shrubs total 8.61. Of the shrubs the Loco and Snake weeds are <br />• toxic to livestock. Woody vegetation in the form of Juniper- <br />Pinyon is only 0.08, and Oak Brush, 0.42, which may also be <br />considered in this category, however these were encountered only <br />on the transact lines. <br />A more accurated determination of the woody vegetation was <br />made be extending each of the eighteen transacts one meter wide <br />and counting the woody plants therein.
