The area just south and above the <br /> proposed topsoil stockpile will be used for the location of any <br /> explosive magazine . Said magazine will be hidden from view <br /> of the haul road and quarry operation , but will be within an <br /> accessible walking distance . It will be approximately 4 ft . x <br /> 4 ft . x 8 ft . in size and will be securely locked and <br /> anchored to prevent theft . <br /> TIMETABLE (Exhibit B and C , No. 5) <br /> The mining operations will commence as soon as all per- <br /> mitting requirements have been satisfied with the State , County., <br /> and BLM. The life expectancy of this operation is 50 years . <br /> The permitee will acquire from the BLM saleable aggregate per- <br /> mits to meet existing contracts based upon demand for said <br /> aggregate . These permits will range in size of extraction from <br /> 100 tons to 10 , 000 tons and will be issued out of the Canon <br /> City BLM Office . Each extraction operation will last from <br /> 10-20 days and will be carried out through the year commencing <br /> as soon as each BLM sale procedure has been processed. The <br /> first such extraction will be approximately 1 , 500 tons based <br /> upon existing orders on file with the operator. It is <br /> anticipated that over the life of the mining operation approxi- <br /> mately 1 . 8 Ac of Rock will be removed from the site ., to a depth <br /> of 40- 50 feet. <br /> QUARRY OPERATION (Exhibit B and C , No . 4 , Exhibit E , No . 2) <br /> The rock outcrop (Red Area , Map 2) will be entirely removed <br /> over the life of the mine .
