The post mining land use will be
rangeland. The final planned configuration of the area is illustrated on the Exhibit F map
included here in. The elements of the reclamation plan aze given below.
'
Backfdling
' All over burden salvaged during the mining operation will be backfilled into the pit area
using a scraper and a dozer.
' r i
' The side slopes ofthe pit will be graded to no steeper than a ratio of 2:1 (h:v).
The pit floor will be smooth graded to form a gentle slope of around no steeper than 2:1
slope. (The Exhibit F map illustrates the final topography).
' The final surface configuration of the lands surrounding the pit area will be virtually
identical to the exhisting ground surface slope and require little minor smooth grading. In
such areas the approximated original contour will occur.
' Run off Diversions
' Because of the site's topographic setting no permanent runoff control diversions are
necessary.
' Soil Replacement
' Topsoil will be replaced on the disturbed areas to a depth averaging about fow inches.
1
' P.RW.OVl]AI
PR E REVISED 01lI891
P.RW.
