If any additional fuel tanks are added, or if the field fuel tanks are moved, a berm, as
described in 112.7(3) above, will be built, or other appropriate measures will be followed to
control or contain an unexpected spill.
II[. In the event of a spill incident, the contaminated areas will be cleaned up with on-site
equipment and personnel. Recent testing has shown three transformers that contain PCB's.
One is a PCB transformer containing 787 ppm PCB's and the remaining two are PCB
contaminated, containing between 50 and 500 ppm of PCB's. In case of spills or fire, local
emergency response teams will be notified. Containment will be immediate by trained
personnel. The three transformers are scheduled to be retrofilled in the summer of 1993.
If an incident occurs within the waste accumulation area, the Emergency Response Plan
(attached) will be implemented as needed.
IV. This plan shall be updated and/or revised whenever permanent storage tanks are added or
moved, or modifications made to the waste accumulation facility.
~ntnfnrcrsrcc
