EXPLOSIVES STORAGE AREA • Technical Revision Vegetation The vegetation bf the affected are- is the shrub communities. Cultural Resources There are no known cultural or historical resources in the affected area. For additional details refer to Sections 2.04.4 Cultural and Historical Resource Information of the Colowyo Permit Application. • Hydrology The surface drainage from the affected area will be handled by the existing drainage for the active pit area. The affected area is located, topographically, on a ridgetop (See attached map - Prouosed Explosive Storage Area). A small catchment ditch will be located on the west side of the distuzbance to direct any sediment and runoff to the north and east into the active pit disturbance area. Construction Plan The construction of a new Explosives Storage Area is made necessary by the advance of the existing pit operation which will render the present Explosive Storage Area unusable.
