Figure 1 shows the permit <br /> area and location of existing facilities. Figure 2 shows land <br />' uses in surrounding areas. <br /> EXHIBIT A Legal Description <br /> ' <br /> The permit area is located in parts of the NE <br />s SW~, the NWT <br /> SE`s, the SEA NWk, and the SW's NEZ of Sec. 24, T3S, R63W. The <br /> permit area encompasses approximately 9.8 acres. The extent of <br />' the affected area (proposed disturbed area) will be confined <br /> within the boundary of the permit area. <br />' EXHIBIT B Mining Plan <br /> Mining Procedure (Dry Alluvial Operation). Clearing the <br /> site of vegetation, topsoil and overburden is not required since <br />' the gravel deposit is at the surface and topsoil and overburden <br /> were cleared in a previous operation. Front-end loaders will <br /> enter the permit area via the existing access road from the south <br />' and will be used to excavate the gravel deposit. Trommel or <br /> vibrating screens will be used to clean the gravel on site. The <br /> cleaned gravel will be dumped in heavy trucks to be hauled from <br />' the site. Existing topsoil and overburden piles will not be <br /> disturbed during mining. <br />' The two gravel deposits shown in Figure 1 will be mined. <br />Other areas within the permit area (excluding the overburden and <br />topsoil stockpiles) will also be mined.
