• When approved by the DMG, ponds 6 and 10 will be reclaimed. Material
will be placed into the ponds to convert the embankments from Coal
Creek Channel berms to solid banks. Material to backfill pond 10 will be
obtained from the pond embankment, the surrounding area and CBA-2.
Material necessary to backfill pond 6 will be primarily from CBA-2. The
run-off collection ditches from the refuse piles will be routed through the
backfilled ponds as shown on Exhibit 9C. Approximately 9,000 cubic
yards will be borrowed from CBA-2 to backfill pond 6 and 4,000 cubic
yards to backfill pond 10.
