(iii) Outline the sequence in which each stage of the operation will be carried out:
This will not be a phased or staged operation, but will be an ongoing floating bond type operation.
Mining will start on the west side, with a series of three 5-acre cells running south to north. When
these are mined out, mining will then move immediately to the next series of adjacent 5-acre cells,
and then continue in the same manner until they are mined out, and then will proceed south in the
same manner.
(F) A map in Exhibit "C" may be used, along with the narrative to present the following
information:
(i) Nature, depth and thickness of the deposit to be mined and thickness and type of
overburden.
Core drilling reports show that overburden ranges from 5' on the south to a range of 8' [0 10', with
one hole of 12' on the north. The aggregate deposit ranges consistently from 20' - 25'.
(ii) Nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material to be mined in sedimentary
deposits.
Core drill reports from the commercial lab that did the testing state that the stratum immediately
beneath the material to be mined is Pierre Shale.
(G) Identify the primary and secondary commodities to be mined and describe the intended
use:
The primary commodity to be mined is sand and gravel construction aggregates. It will be used for,
among other things, concrete aggregates, road material -asphalt and base course, specification and
non-specification fill material, leach rock, decorative rock and other assorted construction uses. At
the present time there are no known secondary products available to be mined or produced.
(H) Name and describe the intended use of all incidental products to be produced:
No incidental products will be involved or produced with this operation.
D-3
