4
completion tubing strings following routine sampling. Although all are protected
with individual coverings to prevent cross contamination of the strings, it is
possible that some of the more dense dissolution surface water entered the
tubing string of the A Groove completion. Although the water quality data has
never indicated a mixing of the two water types in the well casing, Well 21-3A
was pumped out shortly after the overflow and water level change were
observed. Several casing volumes were removed. The water level is very slowly
returning to the elevation where it was prior to the water elevation change. The
individual coverings on multiple completion wells inside the casing head were
also reinforced to add extra protection. No changes were observed in the other
completions within well 21-3.
