• SECTION 7.0 Miscellaneous
7.1 Vegetation Monitoring on Trapper Reclaimed Lands (1995)
An extensive vegetation monitoring effort was accomplished for Trapper Mine reclaimed areas during
the summer of 1995. Data from this monitoring program will be evaluated, summarized and presented
to CDMG, during 1998 as part of a comprehensive Phase II bond release submittal.
No information is submitted in ihis annual report for the 1989 Deninger Pit seeding exclusion area
because the five year commitment to provide data from this trial terminated with the 1994 sampling
season. However, we did observe that this area of Deringer pit reclamation continued to improve sig-
nificantly during 1995 in terms of perennial plant establishment. We are confident that this area will
easily meet all applicable bond release vegetation standards.
7.2 Grazing of Reclaimed Lands
No cattle grazing occured on Trapper reclaimed lands during 1995, nor is grazing planned for 1996.
7.3 1996 Revegetation Seed Mixes
Section 3.8.3.5 of Trapper's Mining and Reclamation permit requires that the Division be notified of the
seed mixes proposed to be used in 1996 (fables 1-1 through 1-7).
• Proposed 1996 seed mixtures are exactly the same as those approved for 1995.. All proposed plant
species are within the constraints of the approved plant species lists.
7.4 Trapper Mine Facilities
In 1995, two ANFO silos were relocated to an area just south of the Shop and Office area. This move
was presented in MR-140. Revised Permit Page 3-183 is attached and reflects this change.
[DMG185REPT7f
