~ y
S~~
Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
~l) The S.C.s. recommendations are sound and they will become part of
the permit document.
J 2) Topsoil will usually not remain in place on slopes steeper than
3H:1V. We cannot recommend replacement of topsoil on 2H:1V as
originally submitted. Also, a seed drill cannot be operated on a
2H:1V slope. Please verify that slopes will not exceed 3H:1V
unless a benching procedure is used. discuss your plans in this
regard.
/ 3) How will the topsoil source area be reclaimed? Include grading,
remaining topsoil depth and seeding.
/4) The submitted seed mix may work well. Normally, we require some
type of shrub seeding. Please verify that the operator will
distribute 2 pounds pure live seed per acre (broadcast) of Mountain
Mahogany. This is required in conjunction with the Division of
Wildlife recommendations.
Exhibit H - Reclamation Costs
/ 1) The staff will recommend a financial warranty of E3,000.00, based
upon 2.0 acres of disturbance, to the Board as a condition of
permit approval. Please notify us as to the type of warranty the
operator wishes to post.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and do not hesitate to call
any qu tions. I look forward to your response shortly.
S' ce y
/ ~ ~f
C~ r ~/~
vi d~ 9,e4~r
vRecl`dma on Specialist
DB/tmb
with
Doc. No. 7170E
