Aspenif'npulue rremulmde.sl and mountain shrub are found along the proposed <br />access road A Gambol oak (Qverciagairheln) habitat type occupies the hillside east of <br />Deer Creek road, which is cut ofthe shaft sites about 1000', and a sound of Douglas fir <br />(Awt domain rnem+raii) on 50-70% side-slopes, occupies 5.10 acres north north -west of <br />the planned shaft uics.'The Dry Pork ofM irmsom Crack lies south of the location an <br />estimated 700 feet. Willows are abundant in this damage. Minnesota Crack road (MR <br />711) runs between the Shaft sites and the crack. There is a wetland arm along Deer <br />Creek, with a one acre stand of I aruc vi Rows !galls sppl .which is located approxlm oli, <br />600 feet southeast of the area st,. n sw11 not be disturbed by the proposed development. <br />The mix of hobiuts in the study area provides conditions suitable for species lyporally <br />associated with these habitat types.
