As in <br />previously reclaimed areas of the pit, no slopes will <br />be left steepr than roughly 5;1, except for those <br />occurring naturally along the margins of the operation. <br />No toxic materials exist in the affected area. <br />c. Backfilling and grading will be conducted immediately <br />after each phase of the mining is completed. <br />d. No acid-forming or toxic-producing materials are <br />known to exist in the materials to be <br />mined. Refuse will not be generated on the affected land <br />nor will any refuse be disposed of in the mining process. <br />Pollution of the drainage system will be prevented by <br />proper grading of the site. <br />e. No auger holes, addits or shafts are associated with <br />this operation. Mining will be conducted so as to mini- <br />mize harmful or polluting drainage. <br />f. Slopes will be graded to be compatible with the final <br />land use. Swimming facilities are not included in the <br />~ reclamation plan. None of the reclaimed land will be <br />used for horticulture. <br />6.2 Water <br />a. No disturbance of the area's hydrologic balance is <br />anticipated. Similarly, no disturbance of surface and <br />ground water systems is foreseen. Exhibit G further <br />addresses the impact on the site's hydrologic balance. <br />E-5 <br />
