The turn around, wood cutters road <br />and Forest Service Rd 211 will not be reclaimed. <br />(a) Mining will continue from the existing 2 acres on site into <br />the expanding area (4.5 acres) <br />c)(i) The topsoiUgrowth medium on site and ultimate salvage <br />on site should be adequate to replace an average of 5 or 6 in. <br />There is no record of the thickness of the material that the <br />National Forest stripped in the mid- 1950's. <br />c)(ii) Hand tools will be used to reclaim the smaller areas on a <br />yeazly basis picks, shovels, rakes, seeders. Finished <br />reclamation of a lazger amount on the final conclusion <br />the mine will use larger equipment. The Walt Rubeck Farm <br />has this equipment in inventory such as, tractors, chisel <br />plow, disc, harrow, drill and so forth will be available for <br />use if needed. <br />c)(iii) I do agree to follow the NRCS recommendations on seeding <br />rates, seed mix, mulch, and seedbed preparation proposal. <br />The price of the mix is $ 7.00 per pound. <br />c)VI) I do not plan to plant trees intend to leave it as range land. <br />The seed mix that NRCS recommended should have a <br />healthy fast revegetated right of way under normal <br />precipitation . If low precipitation existed erosion problems <br />would not be problematic. <br />
