The many <br />water holes created for erosion control would accomodate <br />both domestic and wildlife species as well as create areas <br />for waterfowl, Plantr.g many stands o£ trees and shrubs <br />would allow animals to spread out• and utilize grasses mere <br />fully, Zt would also create a habitat for song and game <br />birds as well as rodents and predators, By utilizing the <br />most compatible species and changing the successional <br />pattern, the area should support a larger and more diverse <br />wildlife population along with a self-sustaining vegetative <br />community. <br />P11 haul roads, except access roads, and any other affected <br />areas, such as parking lots or topsoil stockpile area, would <br />be reshaped and r=clai-ed, using th_ same procedures as de- <br />scribed above. Roads would be 1°_ft for access to the area <br />for future farying and grazing uses. These rozds would also <br />permit access for monitoring reclamation success. Lands <br />would be reclaimed to create an aesthetically pleasing area, <br />The areas seeded would Se monitored on a weekly basis to <br />check the vigor and plant establishment.
