The topsoil will be seeded with 7 lbs of Western wheatgrass to reduce wind and rain <br />erosion. The overburden also will be saved in stockpile for later use. (Please See Mining Map). <br />Exhibit "C" (Rule 6.3.3 (c) ): <br />Overburden material will amount to about 3000 LCY and will be saved in stockpiles on the <br />Southeast comer of the permit area. The overburden will be used to backslope the pit for <br />reclamation. (Please see Mining Map). <br />Exhibit "C" (Rule 6.3.3 (e) & (g) ): <br />Please copy of USES photo showing existing ranch road. The date of photo is 20 June 1997. This <br />shows that the road pre-dates the mining use. (Please See USGS Exhibit "C"). <br />Exhibit "C" (Rule 6.3.3.(j) ): <br />We will confirm with DMG that a 404 Permit is being processed, and we have called the State of <br />Colorado about the need for a WQCD Permit, and the State will issue a permit afrer we get the 404 <br />permit and the 401 permit. <br />Exhibit "C" (Rule 6.3.3(k) ): <br />If a,ty refuse, acid-forming or toxic materials are encountered during mining, the operator shall stop <br />mining and remove said material and dispose of same in the proper waste disposal area off site, per <br />guidelines approved for removal. <br />Exhibit "D" (Rule 6.3.4. (1)(a) ): <br />Overburden will be removed in order [o mine the sand and will be stockpiled for use in reclamation <br />for backsloping. About 3000 LCY will be stockpiled. <br />
