Approximately 230 trees will <br />be planted on the site. <br />The types, sizes, common name, botanical name, and planting method of the <br />trees and shrubs recommended for planting are listed in Exhioit #5. This <br />list contains those species suitable for planting at the altitude and <br />under the conditions that exist at Snyder Quarry. <br />The shrubs and trees shall be planted during the Springs planting season, <br />namely the months of March and April. <br />uestion #2: What nitrogen fixing legume will be added to ttie seed <br />mixture? <br />Comment: Nitrogen fixing legume such as milkvetch will be added to the <br />seed mixture. <br />uestion #3: Two inches of topsoil is insufficient and needs to be <br />increase to four to six inches. <br />Comment: Four to six inches of limestone fines or suitable topsoil <br />material would provide a much better planting base than two inches of <br />topsoil. Topsoil depth will be increased to these limits. <br />~uestio~n #4: Must be more specific as to the planting of the trees and <br />shrubs on the berm such as stated under B-1. <br />Comment: Trees and shrubs will be planted on <br />the Comment to Question B-1.
