in early spring/late winter. In general, discharges declined throughout the period, showing some ':~
of the variability that can be attributed to the precipitation events.
NPDES site 006 (W. Buaard Gulch) recorded a high flow of 155.0 gpm and an average
flow of 32.2 gpm during 1994. Figure C-3 presents the flows versus time. Daily mean flows; from
early March through mid-April ranged from 1.6 up to 122.5 gpm. Low flows were observed from
late March through mid-May, with no discharge recorded between May and December. Flow at
the lOYR/24HR flume Coyote site was not observed during 1994 after spring melt-out. Discharge
recorded for NPDES site Ol l (East Pyeatt) originated from a spring that developed above the
Parshall Flume and below the last sediment control pond (Henderson, 1994). Flows were recorded
from early March through mid-June and averaged 36.4 gpm. No flows were recorded after mid-
June.
•

4-2
