ADDITIONAL CHANGES
Besides addition of autfall 029 and associated changes to the permit, the sample type for pH rnunitoring fur all uwjttlls is
being changed from "grab" m "in-situ". Approved testing method references indicate that pH analysis should occur ru~ .roan
as possible after field collection. While proper sample measurements can be accomplished frorrr n grub sarnp[e rhnr is
analyzed soon after collection, it Wray be injened from the sample type of "grab" that a longer holding time is perntissib[e
when i[ is no[. For this reason, the sample type for all outfalls is being chm+ged from "grub" [u "in-situ ". The permitter
may choose to also have the pH analyzed in the Lab but for reporting requirements, field ntortitoring results must be enrerrrl
on the discharge monitoring reports.
