PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT <br />In a letter dated March 3l, 1995, the perntittee requested addition oja new dischnrge point, #029, from n nex• ur+dergrum+d <br />mining area. The discharge will consist of mine water pumped from an underground sump designated as SOH#6. Wnrer x•i!! <br />be pumped to the surface where it will be treated in a sedimentation porn! with a torn! volume of 0.093 MG (0.068 MG water <br />volume and 0.025 MG sediment storage volume). The mazimunt daily flow is 200 gpm (0.29 MGD). Discharge goes ru an <br />unnamed tributary of Red Wash. <br />N. RECENING STREAM <br />A. Identification, Classification and Standards <br />Identification: Outfall 029 discharges ro an unnamed tributary to Red Wnsh, tributnrv to the White River, within <br />Segment I3a of the White River Sub-basin of the Lower Colorado River Basin. The White River is wuhin segurent <br />12 of the White River Sub-basin of the Lower Colorado River Basin. <br />2. Classiflcatiart: Segment ]3a is classified for the following uses: Use Protected; Recremion, Class 2; Aquatic Life, <br />Class 2 (Warm); Agriculture. Segment 12 is class fled for the following uses: Recrenrion, Class 1; Ayunric Life, <br />Class /(Warm J; Water Supply; Agriculture. <br />3.
