Please <br />submit a response to the following issues no.later than June 6, 2001 so the decision due date of <br />June 15, 2001 can be met. If you cannot respond by June 6, 2001, Please submit a written <br />request for extension of the decision date. If your response, or an extension request, are not <br />received by June 6, 2001 this application may be denied. <br />ADEQUACY ISSUES <br />Application Form <br />1. On page 2 of the application, the quarter section should be changed to "SW" and the quarter <br />quarter section should be changed to "NE". <br />Exhibit C -Mining Plan <br />2. Please specify the estimated beginning and ending dates for this mining operation. <br />3. It is assumed that no topsoil will be salvaged for replacement during reclamation because all <br />areas to be disturbed are comprised of topsoil and will not need any replacement to create a <br />seedbed. Please verify this assumption. <br />4. It is assumed that no overburden or waste rock needs to be removed to reach the topsoil <br />deposit. Please verify this assumption. <br />5. Please specify how much water will be used by the operation and what this water will be used <br />for and what the source of this water will be. <br />6. It is assumed that no groundwater will be encountered given the local well information <br />provided in the application. Please verify this assumption. <br />7. Having inspected the proposed mining site, it is assumed that no surface water will be <br />intercepted by the operation. Please verify this assumption. <br />
