1
' Water
' Compliance of the proposed operation with applicable Colorado
and federal laws regarding water ownership and quality are
addressed in Exhibits G and N.
' Wildlife
' Reclamation as proposed here will establish a diverse vegetational
cover capable of supporting diverse species of wildlife. The
mix of grasses, forbs, and shrubs expected to develop will
' provide food and cover for small mammals and birds, and should
provide browse for larger wild herbivores.
Topsoiling
' Woody vegetation in the form of scattered sagebrush and
rabbitbrush present in areas to be stripped of topsoil will
be removed to an approved solid waste disposal site.
Revegetation
Revegetation as proposed here will result in a diverse, effective,
long-lasting cover comprised almost entirely of native species
and capable of self-regeneration. Slopes in the reclaimed area
' will not be too steep for traverse by livestock.

Cl

1
1
' E-7
