i.
' EXHIBIT C - PRE-MINING AND MINING PLAN MAPS
;+~
This exhibit identifies immediate adjacent surface owners
of record, location of facilities within 200 feet of the
affected land, existing topography of the area, total area
involved in the mining operation including a definition of
affected lands, and the type of vegetation covering affected
lands.
SURFACE OWNERS OF RECORD OF IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT LAND

The owner of record of the immediately adjacent land is the
' Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. Borrow area C
is also presently owned by the Northern Colorado Water
Conservancy District. As indicated in Exhibit P, the District
will lease the land to the Municipal Subdistrict for use as
a borrow area.
t ADJACENT FACILITIES

The only man-made facility within 200 feet of the affected land
is an access road along the easterly boundary of the affected
land. The access road is on property owned by the Northern
Colorado Water Conservancy District. Right-of-way has been
1 granted to the Municipal Subdistrict for use of this road
during construction of the Windy Gap Project and for subsequent
maintenance operations as required.

PRE-MINING AND MINING PLAN MAP
Figure C-1 (envelope) shows existing contours prior to mining
operations. The area to be mined is a bench rising between
two alluvial bottom areas. The area to the west is part of
the alluvium of Willow Creek and the area to the east is a
minor unnamed tributary of Willow Creek. The bench rises 30
to 40 feet from a point near the confluence of Willow Creek
and the minor tributary. This area appears to have been
disturbed by minor borrow operations which have occurred at
some point in the past. Figure C-2 (envelope) shows the mining
plan. Mining will proceed from a southerly to northerly
direction, i.e., from the point of the bench towards the north.
Final contours are shown on Figure C-2 as well as final
anticipated cross-sections for the mined area. The affected
area is anticipated to be 38 acres.

' C-1
