Rule 7: Permiu <br />• The outslope ofthe fill will be graded at approximately 2.5:1 with 20 foot benches constructed every 40 feet <br />in elevation. The outslopes and top ofthe fill will be covered with topsoil or suitable material after rough <br />grading takes place. The outslopes will be walked with a dozer to minimize erosion prior to seeding. <br />Appropriatelyarmoreddiversion ditches.vi II beinstalled oneach side ofthe fil I to carry runoffto a sediment <br />control structure. The top of the fill and the benches will be graded to direct runoff to these perimeter <br />collection ditches. <br />• <br />• <br />Spoil Transportation Zones <br />Spoil transportation zones are areas adjacent to the fills and below the coal seams mined. They are shown <br />on Map 2.05.3-1. Overburden will be transported over the areas by dozer or gravity for final placement in <br />the fill. Overburden will be transported only over these areas, nocoal will be recovered inside the zrnes. <br />After the overburden is transported over these zones, they will be restored to their original contour. No <br />materialwillbestoredinthesezones. Followingoverburdenremovalandplacement,thezoneswillbewalked <br />with a dozer to minimize erosion, topsoil replaced, and seeded.
