Section 816.21(a) Continued. <br />• <br />Rett"N6tth'Atea <br />Before disturbance of an area, topsoil (A Horizon) and subsoil (B <br />Horizon) to be salvaged shall be separately removed and segregated <br />from other material. Procedures for carrying out this requirement <br />are found in Sections 816.22 and 816.23. <br />Rent"Tip(ile Area <br />The tipple site has been in existence since 1974, and topsoil and <br />subsoil were not salvaged in connection with site preparation and <br />erection of structures at the tipple area. Upon regrading of the <br />Kerr Tipple Area prior to reclamation, a small amount of topsoil <br />will be encountered. This soil material will be separately removed <br />and segregated from other material. <br />Matt"Mine Ate& <br />• Since 1974, topsoil has been stripped from all areas subsequently <br />disturbed at the Marr Mine Area. This material has been placed in <br />three topsoil stockpiles delineated on Map 31, Kerr Mine Area Soil <br />Removal and Storage Plan. <br />(b) After removal, topsoil shall either be immediately redistributed as <br />required under Section 816.24 or stockpiled pending redistribution as <br />required under Section 816.23. <br />Rett"N6tth'Aiea <br />After removal, the topsoil and subsoil will be either immediately <br />redistributed as required under Section 816.24, or stockpiled <br />according to Section 816.23. The program will be such that soil <br />removal, storage, and redistribution will be conducted in a manner <br />that assures contemporaneous reclamation and prompt revegetation on <br />816-7 <br />
