Section 816.22(t) Continued. <br />layers should any compaction occur (Shafer el. al., EPA, 1979). Redistributed topsoil <br />will be left in a rough condition as spread to minimize erosion before revegetation. <br />By proper timing and by leaving the surface in a roughened condition, the erosion <br />potential on the site is highly restricted (Bauer, et. al., 19761. Topsoil will be left in a <br />roughened condition until preparation of the site for revegetation, which will be done <br />by chisel plowing and disking, followed by seeding. <br />Kerr Tipple Area <br />This area will be treated in a similar manner to that delineated for the Kerr North Area <br />above. <br />Marr Mine Area <br />This area will be treated in a similar manner to that delineated for the Kerr North Area <br />above. <br />(31 Such other measures shall be taken as the regulatory authority may approve or <br />require to control erosion. <br /> <br />Kerr North Area <br />No other erosion control measures are being proposed at this time. <br />Kerr Tipple Area <br />The existing perimeter berm will be retained to control long-term run-on to the Tipple <br />Area. <br />Marr Mine Area <br />No other erosion control measures are being proposed at this time. <br />TR-10 816-19 Revised August 1999 <br />
