~ ,~S <br />• • <br />EXHIBIT "D" <br />Reclamation Recommendations <br />Branson Gravel Pit <br />A11 available top soil will be stock piled during <br />excavation. Upon completion of the mining operations all <br />slopes will be shaped and graded. Finished slopes shall be <br />4:1 or flatter. <br />Top soil will he spread over the entire mined area to a <br />depth of nut less than 4 inches or greater than 13 inches. <br />Gpon completion of top soiling the entire area will be <br />seeded to a cover crop of oats. Oats will be seeded at a <br />rate of 25 to 30 bulk pounds per acre. The cover crop will <br />he seeded prior to May 1st. The cover crop will not be <br />mechanically harvested or grazed. <br />The attached seedins mixture will be drilled into the <br />standing cover crop during tiovember. <br />The entire area will be excluded from grazing until the <br />seeding is fully established.
