If extensive pit wall seepage is encountered <br />a pit sump might be required. Any impoundment is expected to be of a <br />temporary nature. The mining operations shall be in compliance with <br />applicable Colorado and federal water laws and water quality regulations. <br />If pit dewatering operations are required, Cotter will comply with the <br />• terms and conditions of a N.P.D.E.S. permit. <br />D-2 <br />
