Prior to commencement of mining activities, the Applicant shall obtain any <br />necessary air pollution emissions permits from the Colorado Air Pollution Control Division and <br />provide copies to the Environmental Health Department. <br />14. Applicant shall control road dust, in connection with a fu;itive dust control plan <br />approved by the Environmental Health Department. The dust control plan shall also address <br />parking areas and mine yard areas and shall be submitted to and approved by the Environmental <br />Health Department prior to commencement of the 1998 operating season. <br />I5. Water supply and storage for fire fighting purposes shall be as specified in the <br />USFS approved plan, attached as Exhibit A. <br />16. Water supply and disposal for the operation of mining equipment shall be as <br />follows: water is contained in an underground settling pool, and is brought in by haulage from <br />off-site. <br />17. The following wildfire hazard mitigation measures shall be adhered to: see <br />Exhibit A. <br />18. All signs shall comply with Section 3-110.130 of the Land Use Code except as <br />they may conflict with USFS or OSHA standards. <br />19. All future residential surface structures shall receive building permits, or building <br />permit exemptions, from the Community Development Department. The existing two story <br />structure on the property may only be used for human occupancy, (other than residential <br />purposes), including mine office use, if Applicant has in place adequate insurance to cover injury <br />to occupants of the structure, or if it has MSHA approvals. <br />20. Excavating permits shall be required when 50 cubic yards or more of fill or <br />excavated material is to be removed from the surface, except for emergency excavation and <br />roadwork associated with mudslides, and except for underground quarry activities. <br />21. County lighting standards shall be complied with at all times, except to the extent <br />that they conflict with MSHA or OSHA regulations. <br />22.
