E:{HIBIT G - SUNDAE <br /> <br />A. This operation is not expected to interfere with the surface or gtoundcaar_er <br />systems. Seep water from the mine is presently collected in undergro~.nd sumps and <br />used for underground mining and drilling requirements. There are tentative plans <br />to pump surplus water to the surface into a series of retention ponds to percolate <br />back into the ground water system. <br />C. Underground drilling requirements are estimated to consume 2000 gallons per day <br />or 70,000 cubic feet annually. Surface sanitation facilities consume approximately <br />3,000 gallons per week or 21,000 cubic feet annually. Reclamation plans will be <br />based on annual precipitation. <br />D. Tt~a a^derground water requirements are more than met by the s~.imps s~ith no expected <br />future problems. The surface sanitation water is trucked in from the Union Carbide <br />Mi11 in Uravan. <br />
