140 Aquifers <br />See page 3 -13 in the enclosed Environmental Assessment, Terror Creek 2D Seismic <br />Survey. <br />Method for Plugging Drill Holes <br />Shot holes will be plugged with natural cuttings and /or bentonite in the case of holes that <br />encounter ground water. Bentonite will be placed in the holes to a point at least 10 -feet <br />above the water bearing zone. Any "fluff' zones around the shot holes will be smoothed <br />over. Shot holes will not be marked. <br />Plans for Transfer and Modification of Exploration Drill Holes to Be Used as <br />Surveillance, Monitoring, or Water Wells <br />The operator will not modify any of the "shot" holes into monitoring wells. <br />§2.02.2(2)(h): Endangered or Threatened Species <br />A Wildlife Habitat Evaluation and Inventory for T &E Sensitive and Management Indicator <br />species is enclosed as Appendix E. The study was prepared by Monarch and <br />Associates. <br />National Register of Historic Sites <br />There are no known districts, sites, buildings, structures, or objects in the XPA that would <br />be affected by exploration activities listed on, or eligible for listing on, the National <br />Register of Historic Sites. <br />Cultural or Archeological Resources <br />Cultural Resource and Archeological Resource Surveys of the access roads and drill <br />sites for all drill sites have been completed by Grand River Institute and are enclosed in <br />Appendix D. <br />§2.02.7(1): Public Availability of Information <br />A complete copy of this Notice of Intent to Explore Involving the Removal of 250 Tons or <br />Less of Coal has been delivered to the Paonia Public Library, Paonia, Colorado. <br />§2.02.7(2): Confidentiality <br />None of the information contained in this Notice of Intent to Conduct Coal Exploration is <br />considered confidential. <br />
