<br />stabilization and reclamation procedures are not followed. <br />NOW THEREFORE, Pursuant to the authority set forth <br />in the Colorado Open Mining Land Reclamation Act, the Land <br />Reclamation Board of the State of Colorado has determined <br />that the following land stablization and reclamation procedures <br />will be followed in the mining operation of sand and gravel <br />in Sections 4 and 5, T.35., R.70W, Jefferson County, Colorado, <br />described in more particularity on the schedule annexed hereto <br />and made a part hereof, and Asphalt hereby agrees to faithfully <br />perform the land stablization and reclamation work required <br />herein. <br />1. The expected physical appearance of the area to <br />be mined will be as follows: The portion of the dike under <br />lease will ultimately be removed so that the base or floor of <br />the operation will be level with the contiguous are -~lo <br />#~~ 4 ~~ <br />hole or depression of any depth will be left~Cess~tion <br />of mining. There will be a slight crown left in the middle <br />of the property running north and south so that the natural <br />drainage pattern will be unchanged and the direction of the <br />present drainage will be exactly the same after the mining <br />operation has been concluded. <br />Asphalt will stockpile and retain all of the top- <br />soil and overburden to be used in the eventual restoration. <br />2. Asphalt will grade and restore any surface area <br />disturbed by this operation and revegetate the area following the <br />best information available from qualified organizations and <br />persons, including County Experiment Stations. <br />3. Sufficient overburden and topsoil will be replaced <br />on the mined area and buffalo and mountain grasses will be <br />planted so as to restore the area for livestock grazing purposes. <br />-2- <br />
