There are numerous gravel mines in the area that have <br />operated with no appreciable effect on the groundwater <br />table. There is no indication that there will be a problem <br />with this operation, therefore, we do not believe monitoring <br />is necessary. <br />14. No. <br />15. As we discussed on August 21, 1986, this is no longer en <br />issue. <br />16. The 3 1/2%c moisture content is a rule o£ thumb number that <br />is used by the industry. This moisture content is the final <br />moisture after the materiel has been windrowed and drained. <br />17. The temporary dike will not be constructed. It is material <br />that is left in place and removed at the end o£ the mining <br />operation. The plant site will be at approximately the same <br />elevation as the existing land. <br />18.
