Typically, the surface layer is dark grayish <br />brown loam 10 inches thick. The upper a inches of the <br />subsoil is sandy clay loam, The next 6 inches ie fine <br />sandy loam. The next layer [o a depth of 36 inches <br />clay loam. The upper 8 inches of the subscra cum [s <br />clay loam. The next 11 inches is fine sand. The lower <br />pa rc [o a depth of 60 inches or more is extremely <br />gravelly sand. Permeability is moderately slow. <br />Available water capacity is moderate.
