Typically, <br />the surface layer is dark grayish brown loam 12 inches <br />Chick. The subsoil is clay loam 20 inches Chick. The <br />upper 13 inches of the substratum is clay loam. The <br />lower part to a tlepth of 60 inches or more is loam. <br />~ Pe rmeabrli[y is moderately slow. Available water <br />ca paci[y rs high.
