• 1 - Unnamed Lithic Camborthid-Rock Outcrop complex, 40-60~
Slopes
The complex occurs on steep mountain elopes. This unit
is comprised of about 70~ Lithic Camborthid and 20 percent
rock outcrop. Included in this unit are deeper, colluvial,
skeletal soils which occur in drainageways and very shallow
soils adjacent to the rock outcrops. The Lithic Camborthid
soils occur on steep mountain slopes and the rock outcrops
occur mainly on narrow ridge spurs running downslope.
This map unit is rated poor to fair to a dept h. of 15
inches for topsoil material because of high percentage of
coarse fragments in the profile and the occurrence of rock
• outcrops. This topsoil material may be difficult to salvage
due to the steepness of the slopes.
