<br />Farmer/Special Use Permit/May 10, 1995/Page 7 <br />activity in San Miguel County have not been adequately enforced <br />by the appropriate agency or organization, the Board of County <br />Commissioners may require the mining activity to comply with any <br />and all terms of such regulations. If such regulations are not <br />complied with, the Board of County Commissioners may order such <br />mining activity to cease and desist. <br />Scheduling of Application Consideration <br />Once the Planning Department has received four copies of a <br />complete application that conforms to all applicable Land Use <br />Code requirements, the Planning Department can schedule the <br />application for consideration by the Planning Commission at a <br />public hearing,. The Planning Commission holds regular meetings <br />the second Wednesday of each month. The Planning Department may <br />also refer the application for comment and recommendation to the <br />County Environmental Health Specialist, the County Road <br />Superintendent and the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. <br />In accordance with San Miguel County Board of Commissioners <br />Resolution #1991-70, an application review fee of $250 for a one- <br />step review payable to the San Miguel County Treasurer must <br />accompany the submission for the application to be considered <br />complete. <br />The applicant will be responsible for mailing notice to all <br />owners of property within 300 feet of the subject property and <br />for posting a sign (obtained from the Planning Department) in a <br />conspicuous location on the subject property at least 15 days <br />prior to the hearing before the Planning Commission.
