The applicant will resample [he alkali sa;;ebr~.ish community from <br />conmunities near the area to be disturbed and sample another reference area. <br />These data will he used to determine the pcssibilit}• of selecting a differenct <br />reEeren;:e area. ~:uody plant densities must he supplied for both communities <br />for apl~ruval of reference areas. This informatton must be supplied to the <br />regulatory authority for approval by !:ovemher 1, 1980. <br />' 3. The applicant will subject revegetated areas [o Herbage removal by <br />};razing or clipping studies approved by tl~e regulatory authority, a[ proper <br />use levels during at least the last two year of liability. The herbage <br />' removal will be equivalent [o that adjuccn[ to revegetated areas. <br />'+. The applicantmist submit a plan for evaluation success. This plan will <br />in::lude 1) a method for eval+iating dt:•erslty and monitoring alfalfa, and 2) a <br />' method of comparison of re vegetated cor..nani[les to reference areas. This must <br />ha submitted for approval by [he regula[or_v authority with the above material <br />by `:ovemhur 1, 1980. <br />5. The applicant will submit site specific information demonstrating [hat <br />reference areas are properly managed or submit a plan for periodically <br />'• ^o:itorim,; v•,,;etation (i. e. [read or utilization studies). If reference areas <br />.;rc found [n he improperly mana};ed they will he fenced to simulate proper <br />m:uia ;e man[.
